Breathwave
Welcome to Breathwave
A gentle return to yourself through the rhythm of your own breath.
Over time, life experiences, stress, and responsibility can subtly shape our breathing patterns — often without us realizing — reflecting how our nervous systems has learned to cope and protect ourselves.
Your breathing pattern directly affects your nervous system, hormone balance, and stress response — whether you’re aware of it or not.
Breathwave is an invitation to soften.
To let your breath become a place of safety, presence, and self-love.
This practice doesn’t ask you to fix yourself — it allows your body to relax and do what it is already trying to, restore balance and heal.
Conscious connected breathing offers a powerful way to release what you’ve been carrying and reconnect with your natural rhythm.

What is breatwhave
Breathwave is a practice of Conscious Connected Breathwork designed to help the body and mind find balance naturally. The breath flows in a gentle, continuous rhythm, without pauses between inhale and exhale. This allows the nervous system to settle, tension to release, and awareness to expand. Breathwave meets you where you are, creating a safe and supportive environment for learning to breathe consciously.
This practice is both structured and adaptable, It invites you to explore your own breathing patterns, notice subtle sensations, and engage with the rhythm of your breath in a mindful, intentional way.
where does it come from
Breathwave was developed by Robin Clements, founder and Senior Teacher Trainer of Breathwave. Robin’s journey into conscious breathing began with his own healing path, shaped by a lifelong exploration of body, breath, ceremony, and connection. He apprenticed with bodywork and breath teachers, indigenous, and ceremonial traditions from around the world, bringing these experiences together into a cohesive and accessible practice. Robin has spent over 25 years refining this approach, integrating influences from transformational breathwork, yoga, ceremonial practice, and deep awareness of the mind-body connection. His work blends ancient wisdom with modern understanding of the body, mind, and nervous system, creating a form of breathwork that is both grounded and expansive.
Who can do it
Breathwave is accessible to a wide range of people and can be practiced one-on-one, in small groups, or in guided online sessions. The practice is adaptable to different levels of experience, fitness, and daily routines, providing a supportive space for anyone interested in exploring conscious breathing — beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Sessions include gentle guidance, optional supportive hands-on facilitation, and a nurturing container where you can relax and explore your breath safely. While Breathwave is gentle and safe for most people, certain medical conditions may require extra care; if you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, please reach out before booking, and we’ll support you in making an informed choice.

what breathwave does for you
-
Breathwave helps calm and regulate your nervous system by encouraging the breath to move in a steady, open flow. This relaxed breathing pattern supports the transition from stress responses into a more balanced, restorative state.
-
Many people breathe at only a fraction of their potential. Breathwave gradually opens the respiratory system, allowing full, natural breath patterns that increase oxygen and vital life force throughout the body.
-
Through connected breathing, the diaphragm contracts and relaxes naturally, which supports circulation, cleanses the lymphatic system, balances hormones, and brings richer oxygen supply to every cell, promoting overall bodily health.
-
Breathwave’s continuous breath rhythm can access subconscious emotional material — including old patterns and stored memories — allowing space for release and integration, rather than suppression.
-
As breathing becomes more open and flowing, many people experience heightened states of awareness, greater clarity, and the potential for deeper insight into personal patterns and inner experience.
-
Breathwave is a way to invite life force (prana) into the body while discharging accumulated stress and tension, helping the energetic field feel lighter, more vibrant, and more coherent
-
Many people notice moments of joy, lightness, or bliss during Breathwave sessions as the nervous system relaxes and emotional blocks release, creating space for natural pleasure and emotional uplift.
-
By guiding the body into a sustained, gentle rhythm, Breathwave helps you experience profound relaxation that continues beyond the session, leaving the mind calmer and the body rejuvenated.

How the Session Flows
• Arrival & Introductions
We begin by settling into the space together. There’s time for gentle introductions, setting intentions, and creating a safe, supportive container for the experience.
• Understanding the Practice
You’ll receive a clear explanation of Breathwave and how it works, followed by a brief demonstration so you feel confident and at ease before beginning.
• Gentle Movement (≈15 minutes)
A slow, accessible movement practice helps release tension, bring awareness into the body, and prepare you for the breathwork journey.
• Breathwave Journey (≈45 minutes)
You’ll lie down comfortably and be guided into the Breathwave breathing pattern. Supported by sound and rhythm, the breath flows continuously, allowing the nervous system to settle and deeper awareness to unfold. During the practice, there may be opportunities for supportive, hands-on facilitation to help deepen relaxation and connection. This is always optional, offered with clear consent, and guided by respect for your boundaries. You are welcome to decline or change your preference at any time.
• Integration & Rest (≈15 minutes)
After the breathwork, you remain lying down in stillness. This time allows your body and nervous system to integrate the experience through meditation and rest.
• Closing the Circle (≈15–30 minutes)
We gently ground together before closing. This may include sharing reflections, enjoying tea or a small treat like chocolate, or simply being in quiet connection with the group.

Everyone’s journey is unique, and lasting change is less about a number and more about consistency and presence. Some people feel shifts after a single session — a sense of calm, clarity, or connection — while others find that regular practices deepen emotional resilience and embodied awareness over time. There’s no “minimum” number required; instead, we encourage listening to your body and allowing the breath to guide your pace.

Absolutely. Breathwave meets your breath exactly where it is in the moment. You are not expected to breathe deeply or “correctly”; the practice gently invites connection without strain. Bella’s guidance helps you tune into your breath and body awareness in a way that feels supportive, safe, and natural.
